About Us

Woman leaping

Anatech is one of the leading Canadian distributors of sports medicine products. Keeping true to our core values of quality, integrity and reliability, we vow to deliver innovative high quality products to “support active lifestyles”. It is our belief that providing outstanding customer service is not based solely on what we deliver, but in our capacity to listen and act on what our customers need.

Manufacturing

Our Canadian manufacturing shop produces Anatech branded off-the-shelf braces offering a wide range of bracing and supports for a multitude of applications. We are also one of the few companies that still offer custom bracing. Along with our own line and custom bracing, we also manufacture several private label lines for companies across Canada.

Our Team

Lorna Boyle, President

Lorna BoyleAs president of the company, Lorna oversees the overall direction of Anatech and believes in a hands-on management style. She is a firm believer in the Promise Cycle, which she uses to create a culture of commitment, accountability and communication, a set of values shared by our team and appreciated by our customers. Lorna explains, “whether it’s personal or within the business world, communication is crucial to creating any lasting relationship.”

In her spare time Lorna enjoys exploring the creative side of her nature with her love of photography, writing and making music with her choir, the Richmond Singers.

Karen Sabourin, General Manager & Director of Marketing

Karen SabourinAfter two years in production and shipping Karen moved into administration before taking a three year sabbatical in 1996 to study at the West Coast College of Massage therapy graduating as a RMT. Karen has returned to Anatech and for the last five years, as General Manager, has been responsible for the day to day operations. Her added knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology has been a definite asset in assisting customers with their patients requirements.

In her spare time Karen enjoys spending time with her family. Karen and her husband Bruce, with their two boys and Koda, their black lab, enjoy exploring the BC’s beautiful outdoors in their travel trailer.

Leah RigbyJoining Anatech in the fall of 2013, Leah’s background in the airline industry provides an excellent foundation in customer service. In combination with her related administrative experience in the medical supplies sector, she quickly became a valuable asset to our team.

In her spare time, Leah and her young son enjoy the outdoors; hiking, camping and spontaneous road trips exploring beautiful British Columbia!

Zoe Boyle, 2005 – 2017

Zoe BoyleUntil we lost Zoe in November 2017, she had been Anatech’s Chief Office Companion and was at the side of our President Lorna both at home and at the office. Her chief responsibility had been to keep the stress level at the office to a minimum. Protection of the staff had always been a big priority, making sure the mailman and various couriers are vetted on a daily basis.

In her spare time, Zoe enjoyed chasing squirrels and taking long walks at Boundary Bay where she learned very late in life the joys of swimming. As seen here in her profile picture, she also takes great delight in stopping Lorna relaxing on the couch with a book, preferring that she throws her ball instead. Anatech will not be the same without her.
